The INTROHOUSES website was created to serve as a guide to family homes and a useful tool for anyone looking for inspiration for their own residence. The project aims to introduce the public to a selection of the best the architectural scene has to offer while supporting the development of Czech architecture.

For greater clarity and easier orientation, we've divided the individual family homes - each accompanied by a description, photographs and other available materials - into several categories. You can choose from urban or rural buildings, Czech or foreign constructions or select according to the construction material that defines a particular building. Many of the houses presented have been recognised in architecture competitions, including the Czech Architecture Awards or Slovakia’s CEZAAR awards. The editorial board of INTRO magazine participated in the selection process, and some houses are even of their own design.
